Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of ground bee pollen
  • 1 tablespoons of honey
  • 2-4 tablespoons of oil

Directions:

  • Grind the bee pollen into a powder using a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle (or to skip this step, purchase bee pollen powder)
  • Mix the ground bee pollen, honey and oil together – save a couple of tablespoons of oil for the lengths of your hair (depending on your hair’s length)
  • Apply the mixture to the scalp, and gently massage it in
  • Apply your chosen oil to the lengths of your hair, and leave on for 20-30 minutes
  • Shampoo and condition, and enjoy your shiny locks!

NOTE: You may find it easier to apply on damp hair – spray your hair with a spray bottle of water if needed. And when shampooing, you will probably have to shampoo twice to thoroughly remove the treatment.

You can consume bee pollen as a daily supplement. If it’s your first time, start with a small amount, just a few granules a day.

Then slowly increase the amount to 1/4-1/2 teaspoon as your body gets used to it, and work your way up to a full tablespoon daily.

  • Sprinkled on yogurt
